NATURAL WELLNESS

Small choices. More awareness.

A more intentional approach to health.

Natural wellness has been part of my life for more than 15 years. I'm still learning, still asking questions, still trying new things, and still changing my mind when I learn something new and need to shift my routine.

You don't have to change everything to start somewhere.

MY APPROACH

My approach has never been about perfection.

I've never been the person who believes you need to throw everything in your house away on Monday and replace it with the "clean" version by Tuesday. That's overwhelming. And expensive.

For me, natural wellness has always been about learning something and then deciding:
Okay… what can I do differently now that I know this?

Sometimes it's discovering a food sensitivity in our diet.

Sometimes it's removing a product from our home.

Sometimes it's adding an essential oil or supplement.

Sometimes it's simply asking a better question.

Small choices add up.

HOW IT STARTED

My wellness journey started in 2010.

I started working for a nutraceutical company in the animal health industry, educating veterinarians about preventative health through nutrition. Because the company created supplements for both pets and people, I found myself learning about anatomy, ingredients, and how the systems of the body work together.

Then wellness stopped being something I was learning for work. It became deeply personal.

Life gave me plenty of reasons to keep learning—my dad's cancer diagnosis, a miscarriage, more than a dozen symptoms of my own, and a fertility journey that spanned 2.5 years.

In 2012, I was also introduced to essential oils and what I affectionately call the oily world. They've been woven into every season of my life since.

A NEW DIRECTION

Wellness became part of the way I live.

In 2014, I started working with a naturopath and began looking more closely at my nutrition, gut health, hormones, and everyday exposures in our home. Food testing revealed a gluten sensitivity. So I made necessary changes, removed it from my diet and haven't looked back since.

Eventually, after two and a half years of trying to conceive, we welcomed our daughter—our rainbow baby in 2015.

A few years later... I was nearly 16 weeks along before we found out we were expecting our son in 2018!
Such a sweet and shocking SURPRISE! No secondary infertility here. Thank you, God.

By 2022, I discovered a whole other side of myself through creative design work, and my professional direction shifted.

Instead of pursuing Integrative Fertility Health Coaching, I found myself helping entrepreneurial women and friends simplify the overwhelming tech, organize their ideas, bring their visions to life in a digital way, and started building beautifully branded websites that actually function and support their business.

But I never stopped reading labels. Never stopped researching ingredients. Never stopped asking questions.

Wellness simply became what it had always been: part of the way I live.

TEST-BASED WELLNESS

These days, I'm asking better questions.

I've become increasingly interested in what we can actually learn about our bodies. Instead of assuming, guessing, or hoping...

What if we could test instead of guess?

More recently, I've gone down a rabbit hole learning about fatty acids, omega-3s, and the balance of omega-6 and omega-3 in our diets. I tested. What I learned made me pay attention—and reinforced something I've come to appreciate more and more:

Test. Don't guess.

STILL LEARNING

You don't have to change everything to start somewhere.

Read the label. Make one swap. Ask the question. Take the test. Try something different. Pay attention to how you feel. Learn something new. And then decide what makes sense for you.

It's not about fear. It's not about perfection. It's about awareness.

If sharing what I'm learning helps you do the same, I'm so glad you found your way here.
