I was determined to keep my dad alive, so I started learning as much as I could on holistic + clean living, ways to lower cancer risk + natural ways to reduce tumor growth. That's when we were introduced to essential oils + using aromatherapy for therapeutic purposes.
The treatment came + went, with little success, and sadly they told us there wasn't anything else they could do for my dad. So we prayed for a miracle and continued to incorporate "crunchy" habits into our lives. Finally, that October we found out we were pregnant but the celebration was short-lived as I suffered a miscarriage a couple of weeks later.
To say I was an emotional wreck was an understatement. I was completely overwhelmed, stressed, and struggling with my own health challenges. Even so, we continued our fertility journey with more intent for the next year with no success.
Then, in January 2014, I attended a 48-Day Transformation seminar hosted by the Naturopath I had an appointment with the following month. She helped me identify areas of improvement and I allowed myself to heal. I made lifestyle changes that drastically improved my health, which ultimately enhanced my fertility... and 6 months later I was PREGNANT! I went on to have 2 wonderful pregnancies, 2 natural births without any meds, and breastfed both babes like a champ for 28+ months!
After learning how common it is for women to struggle with infertility, I knew I wanted to serve this community in some way. I thought, there have to be other women out there, who are feeling unbalanced, on a journey pursuing natural fertility, and need support, just like I did.
And ….here we are.
I recently dove into the Oola framework designed to help find balance in this unbalanced world and took the leap to be a Certified Oola Life Coach to maximize the way I am able to serve other women. I am beyond humbled and grateful to teach you, encourage you and support you. My mission is to help 5,000 women over the next 5 years and beyond to find balance in all areas of their lives, so that they can live out their purpose and their dreams, especially if that dream is to be a mom.
If this sounds like you--welcome. You are in the right place.
