42 trips around the sun, and what a journey it’s been! 🎉
As I celebrate my 42nd birthday, I can’t help but reflect on how much life has shaped me—the lessons learned, the growth, the unexpected twists, and the moments that have truly defined me. Every year, I gain a little more wisdom, a lot more gratitude, and a deeper appreciation for the people and experiences that make life so rich.
In the spirit of celebration, I’m sharing 42 things you may (or may not) know about me—some fun, some personal, and some that may surprise you! Whether we’ve known each other for years or you’re just getting to know me, I hope this gives you a little peek into my world
Wellness Journey & Natural Living
- I’ve been alcohol-free for 412 days.
- I’ve used fluoride-free toothpaste for over a decade.
- I ditched artificial fragrances, perfumes, candles, and plug-ins in 2014.
- I’m always searching for a good-tasting kombucha.
- My natural wellness journey began 14 years ago, working in the animal health industry.
- A naturopath helped detect my gluten sensitivity and heal my gut, ultimately enabling me to conceive naturally after 2.5 years of infertility struggles.
- I’ve used essential oils for 12 years and love teaching others how to use them.
- I’m passionate about helping mamas learn about low-tox living and a holistic approach to wellness.
Faith & Family
- I’ve been baptized twice: once at 11 and again at 31.
- I met my husband in college at 22, and we’re celebrating 20 years together.
- I became a mom in my 30s, having my daughter at 32 and my son at 35.
- I nursed my kids for 55 months collectively.
- My mom is my hero and biggest cheerleader.
- My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2012, but after significant lifestyle changes, he’s been in remission for 10 years.
- I was separated from my dad for 21 years, but we’ve been reunited for 15 years (Nov. 6, 2009).
Health & Personal Achievements
- I lost 75 pounds over the course of five years after giving birth to my son.
- I’ve been ziplining in the El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico.
- I rolled down a mountain skiing in Winter Park, Colorado, and walked the rest of the way down!
- I worked full-time in retail management for six years while also attending college full-time.
- I'm a college grad with a marketing degree and double minors in business and communications.
Fun Facts & Favorites
- I love pickles but can't stomach cucumbers!
- Christmas is my favorite time of year.
- Mexican restaurants that serve white queso instead of yellow are my favorite!
- I firmly believe pineapples belong on pizza (Hawaiian pizza on cauliflower crust is my jam).
- Chicken Salad Chick has won my heart. So freaking delicious.
- Nothing Bundt Cake’s gluten-free chocolate chip cake is so freaking good. I allow myself to have one buntlet a month!
- I want to learn all things gluten-free sourdough-it’s on my 2025 goals list.
Design, Business, & Passions
- I started my design business in 2022, helping entrepreneurs elevate their online presence through digital marketing.
- When I was 20, my dream was to live in LA and work in the film industry in costume design.
- My first job after college was in the insurance industry—8-5 cubicle life was not for me!
- I enjoy working from home and empowering others to pursue their passions online while also generating income.
- My goal is to expand my capacity and serve 2,222 new people in 2025 with the tools, templates and tutorials that I’m creating.
Beliefs & Values
- I’m an Enneagram 8w7 and a manifesting generator in human design.
- I’m a Jesus-loving, American Patriot.
- I support the Make America Healthy Again Movement. #MAHAmom
- I value free speech, medical freedom, and less government overreach.
- I’m all about asking questions, uncovering truth, and supporting the mass awakening.
Sentimental LIFE Moments
- I was nearly 16 weeks pregnant with my son before I realized I was expecting!
- I was due on my brother’s birthday but arrived two days early on 11/22. He still says I was his best birthday present ever.
- My mom decorated my nursery with rainbow colors and clowns since she didn’t know if I’d be a boy or a girl until the day I was born.
- I lost two beloved furry friends—Scotchee in 2023 (at 17) and Bit-Bit in 2012.
- Quality time with my family is my favorite—whether it’s playing disc golf, walking, or exploring new places.
