Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been breaking down GetOiling’s different plans from a slightly different perspective. We started with Seed and asked how much business infrastructure we could build if we only had $9 a month to spend. Then we moved into Starter and looked at what another $20 per month could unlock as your audience grows and you need more room for email marketing, landing pages and automation.
If you haven't read both blogs, here you go:
- What Can You Actually Build for $9 a Month? Inside GetOiling’s Seed Plan
- What Does $29 a Month Unlock? Inside GetOiling’s Starter Plan
But when we get to GetOiling’s Basic plan at $59 per month, the conversation changes. I’m no longer asking: “How cheaply can we make this work?”
I’m asking: “How much of the tech you actually need to run and monetize your business can we consolidate into ONE place?”
Because once you’re ready for someone to find you, get to know you, join your email list, book a call, purchase an offer, receive what they bought and continue hearing from you afterward, your technology needs to do more than simply give you an online presence.
It needs to create a path. And this is where Basic starts getting really interesting.
First, Who Is GetOiling Basic For?
The Seed and Starter plans we’ve discussed are specifically available through GetOiling, which requires you to have a Young Living customer/member number. Basic is also available through GetOiling and currently costs $59 per month. Sign up here.
If you are NOT a Young Living customer, don’t worry. GetOiling’s sister platform, AttractWell, is available to entrepreneurs outside of Young Living, and I’m going to break down its Basic plan separately so we can keep the details of each platform squeaky clean.

For this article, we’re sticking specifically with what I could build for someone using GetOiling Basic.
If You Want to Accept Payments Online, This Is Where I’d Start
I said this in the Starter article, but it’s worth repeating because this is one of the biggest distinctions between the plans.
Not every business needs to accept payments online. You may primarily work through referrals, local services, speaking, networking or one-on-one relationships. You can also use outside payment options like PayPal or Venmo if that works for you.
But at some point, I want you to consider this: We are in the business of making money. And one way we can expand our reach and revenue is by creating something people can purchase online. That could be an ebook, guide, online workshop, LIVE cohort, mini course, program, educational training or another digital resource based on something you already know and teach.
If you're at the point where you WANT or NEED someone to be able to purchase from you online and you want to streamline what happens after that purchase, I would skip Seed and Starter and begin looking at Basic. This is where payments become part of the ecosystem instead of something we have to piece together outside of it.
What Does GetOiling Basic Give Us to Work With?
Basic currently gives you significantly more capacity than Starter, including:
- Up to 10 custom web pages
- Up to 10 custom landing pages
- 5 domains/websites
- Unlimited contacts
- 7,000 marketing credits per month
- 20 automations
- 10 calendar booking links
- 5 call packages
- Payments
- 5 e-commerce stores
- 2 member-area vaults
- 2 online classes
- 10 hosted videos
- Zoom for up to 10 attendees for up to 24 hours
- 3 Custom GPTs
- A blog
- Lead capture and downloadable resources
- Email and text marketing
- Contact management and follow-up tools
There are additional features, but rather than walking through every line of a feature chart, I want to show you what I would actually BUILD with those tools.
Because having access to technology and strategically using that technology are two completely different things.
Start With a Simple Website That Creates a Clear Path
Just because Basic allows up to 10 custom web pages doesn't mean I think you need to build 10. In fact, if you're new to building your online presence—or if you already have a website that feels overwhelming, too busy or doesn't give visitors a clear path—I would probably simplify.
I'd start with something like:
Home Page: Clearly communicate who you help, what you do and where someone should go next.
About Page: Help people understand who you are, why you do this work and why they should trust you.
Contact Page: Give someone an easy way to reach you.
Blog: Create useful, searchable and shareable content that continues working beyond social media.
Start Here / Link-in-Bio Page: Create one simple destination for people coming from Instagram, Facebook, your email signature, a QR code or anywhere else you're showing up.
Then we build outward based on what your business actually needs. Maybe you need a sales page for your primary offer. Maybe you need one or two landing pages for free resources. Maybe you need a dedicated booking page.
don't need to fill all 10 pages just because they're available. Every page gets a job and serves a purpose.
Build Your Audience With One or Two Really Good Free Resources
Next, I would make sure we have a way to turn website visitors and social media followers into actual contacts.
You don't need 17 freebies. Start with one or two valuable lead magnets that solve a specific problem for the person you're trying to reach. Each free resource can have its own landing page where someone enters their information, receives the resource and enters your contact database.
From there, your automations can begin doing some of the work for you. Maybe they receive the resource immediately and then enter a short email sequence that introduces them to you, provides additional value and points them toward the next logical step.
Now we're not simply collecting email addresses... we're creating a customer journey. And with unlimited contacts and 7,000 marketing credits per month, we have significantly more room to nurture the audience we're building.
Create a Simple Sales System
This is where Basic starts to separate itself from Seed and Starter. Now we can build a sales page for an offer and give someone a way to actually purchase it. That offer doesn't have to be complicated.
- Maybe you create a $9 ebook.
- Maybe it's a $27 workshop.
- Maybe you teach a LIVE cohort.
- Maybe you've created a mini course or a larger educational program.
Someone can discover your offer, read about it, make a decision and pay without needing to message you and ask where to send money. Then we can use GetOiling's tech automations to help manage what happens next.
That's the kind of automation I'm interested in—not adding complicated technology simply because we can, but removing unnecessary manual steps from both your experience and your customer's.
Your Private Member Area Opens Up Another Revenue Opportunity
This may be one of the most important differences once you begin thinking about digital products. Basic includes a private member area with two vaults and two online classes.
That means your digital offer doesn't necessarily have to be a PDF someone downloads. You can create a more interactive experience.
- Maybe you teach a mini course with several lessons.
- Maybe you run a four-week program and want participants to have one place to access their materials.
- Maybe you host a LIVE workshop and put the replay, workbook and supporting resources inside a private area afterward.
- Maybe you create an educational resource library for paying clients.
Your customers and prospects can also access member-area content through the app, giving you another way to deliver what you've created. Now we aren't adding another course platform just because we decided to create a course.
We're asking whether the platform we're already paying for can deliver it. Use what you already have... and you can't use what you don't understand. That's why I am here to help you!
Booking Can Become Part of Your Sales System Too
Basic gives you up to 10 booking links and five call packages. That gives us significantly more flexibility if services are part of your business.
You might have a free discovery call, a paid strategy session, an existing-client appointment or several different services that require different booking parameters.
Call packages can also be sold and tracked through the system, so if someone purchases multiple sessions, GetOiling can keep track of the calls they've used. Your connected calendar, appointment reminders, follow-up and built-in Zoom can all work together to make that experience easier for both you and the person booking. Plus the information saves to their contact card within the CRM. Again, we're consolidating and simplifying the client and customer experience.
Don't Forget the Small Places Your Business Can Create a Path
This is something I think entrepreneurs overlook. Your tech stack isn't only your website. Once we've built the core ecosystem, I also want to look at all the little places someone encounters you.
- Your Instagram bio.
- Your Facebook profile.
- A QR code on something you hand out at an event.
- Your business card.
- Your email signautre.
Instead of simply putting your name and phone number at the bottom of an email, what if your signature invited someone to grab your best free resource, visit your Start Here page or book a conversation? None of these pieces needs to be complicated. They simply need to point somewhere intentionally.
The Goal Isn't More Tech. It's a Better-Connected Business.
This is where I think people sometimes get overwhelmed. They hear “website,” “funnels,” “email marketing,” “CRM,” “course platform,” “booking system,” “Zoom,” “automations,” “checkout,” “member area” and “link in bio” and assume they need to go subscribe to nine different platforms.
But that's not necessary.
With GetOiling Basic, we can potentially build your website, manage your contacts, grow your email list, send your marketing, create automations, schedule appointments, host Zoom calls, take payments, sell offers and deliver digital products within the SAME ecosystem. No need to pay for Zapier to connect your FloDesk to your StanStore anymore!
What Would I Actually Build First?
If we were starting today, I wouldn't try to turn on every Basic feature at once. I'd build the foundation:
- A clear Home page, About page and Contact page.
- A blog.
- A Start Here/link-in-bio page.
- One or two strong free resources.
- A sales page for your primary paid offer.
- A booking system if your business needs one.
- A simple email nurture sequence.
- And, if your paid offer needs it, a private member area where customers can access what they've purchased.
Then we'd connect the pieces. That's the part that matters. Someone discovers you. They know where to go. They find something valuable. They join your list. They hear from you again. They discover an offer. They purchase. They receive what they bought. And they continue moving through your world.
That's not just a website... that's a business ecosystem. This is WHY I think Basic becomes worth looking at and is the #1 plan I recommend you start with if you are financially able to do so. Remember, this is a business INVESTMENT --> not just another business EXPENSE. Sign up here.
Not a Young Living Customer?
GetOiling is specifically available to people with a Young Living customer/member number. If that's not you, don't worry. Its sister platform, AttractWell, offers many of the same types of tools for entrepreneurs outside of Young Living.
I'll break that platform down separately so you can see exactly what's included, what I would build with it and whether it makes sense for your business. If you have a Young Living customer/member number and Basic sounds like the level your business needs, you can learn more or get started through my referral link.
And remember: the goal isn't to choose the plan with the most features. Choose the technology that creates the clearest path for the business you're building. Don't overcomplicate it.
